Come join us! We attend movies, live theater, opera, and other events together, without going into Boston. We may eat together (inexpensively) before or after to discuss. Possibilities include the Metropolitan Opera's live HD simulcasts in Rockport, or live theater at the Gloucester Stage Company, or movies at the Cabot Theater in Beverly. New ideas are welcome! Our purpose is to build community around the performing arts on the North Shore, and to make like-minded friends.
Sonnets To Orpheus I, 3 by R. M. Rilke translated by H. Landman A god can do it. How do you expect a man to squeeze on through the lyre and follow? His mind is torn. Meetup details are available only to members.
This meetup is for young people in their 20s and 30s to get together and go see some great theatre in the city. Boston is home to many talented, fantastic theatre companies, including the Speakeasy, the Zeigeist, the Huntington, ArtsEmerson and many others. We'll mainly focus on small companies instead of the larger touring shows such as those that come to the Opera House, but we'll do some of those as well.
